Dear Youth at DMPC,

On Saturday, December 1^st, I would like to decorate the Chrismon tree in the sanctuary.

I will be teaching an Advent Sunday School class each of the Sundays in December to all of you.  The Advent book has 4 African American Spiritual songs concerning Advent and Christmas.  We will listen to the music and discuss the song. 

So we can’t put the tree up in a Sunday school class like we have in the past.  I would like to meet on December 1^st at 6:00 p.m. and have pizza.  Then we could put the tree up after eating.

We may also make some stars for the Epiphany service in January.  (When the wise men find Jesus.)  We might do something special that Sunday and would need stars.

I hope you all can come Saturday,  December 1^st at 6:00 p.m. at the church!
